Joe Lapsansky

Business Intelligence Developer - People Leader - Cloud Practitioner

After moving to an intensive data role, I completed a Data Analytics certification program where I spent time honing my skills in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools like Tableau. In my current job, I mainly focus on leading a team of expert developers, writing code to build database views, modeling tables to create datasets, and developing Power BI reports for end-users. In April 2022, I passed the AWS Cloud Practioner exam. Most recently, I began tutoring students in Data Analytics related topics. This content is available on my YouTube page, Data Science Building Blocks. I look forward to further strengthening my cloud and analytics skills.

About Me

I welcome work that requires a high-degree of financial acumen and an understanding of relational databases. While I enjoy analyzing financial statements, I am more interested in the data behind the cumulative numbers. I am currently leading my team through a server migration and making a push toward predictive analytics reporting.
